I would just like to say a big thank you to all the excellent staff on this ward.

From the moment I walked through the doors of reception I was put at ease. The staff introduced themselves and were always courteous.

It was most impressive to see and be treated by young students, these are our future medics. They were being watched over by the best professionals. I was kept informed all the time as to which staff would be taking care of me.

I was placed in a private room upon my return from theatre, which was spotlessly clean, had an en suite and small t.v. What more could you ask for.

The staff were checking on me regularly and brought my lunch when requested. They also provided plenty of drinks and nothing was to much trouble.

The whole staff on this ward are super stars and I cannot thank them enough for their patience and kindness. I would say top BDGH angels.

And to finish I would highly recommend this dept for Day Surgery to family and friends.
