"Hate this hospital don't have your children..."

About: Birmingham Women's Hospital

I am 40 weeks pregnant I was due for c section as baby was breech but baby has now turned back around and not engaged so baby could turn back to breech if I'm not induced which isn't an option for 10 days!! I have to go back for growth scans because baby's development is tailing off and I have 2 other children I have to keep sorting childcare for because I keep being passed from pillar to post. My husband has already taken 1 day off his paternity leave believing baby was being born via c section only to be sent home and now he doesn't know when to tell work his paternity leave is starting because the staff at the hospital haven't made their minds up on what they're doing with me and my baby. I have no midwife and have not had an antenatal for 3 weeks no one listens to me and I have had no say as to the care I am receiving or would like to receive. I am sick of being patronized when telling nurses my ailments I want them to listen and maybe even actually give me some advice. I have an appointment today for a growth scan and last night someone phoned to see where I was because I was still on the outpatients register and they didn't know if I'd had my c section or not. I feel like a piece of meat being passed around from pillar to post I have not been treated with dignity or respect and I am now so depressed I am not even looking forward to having my baby here because I am scared the staff are not competent enough to take care of us and I am afraid for our health and well-being. For your mental health and general well-being avoid this hospital at all costs and deliver else where if at all possible.
