"Felt at ease straight away"

I had been panicking about this procedure ever since I got my letter but the nurses who dealt with me were absolutely wonderful.

(And despite being on my back with my feet in the air I didn't feel a bit embarrassed because they made sure I was covered up when necessary).

The nurse who performed the colposcopy and treatment went into a lot of detail to ensure I understood what was happening. I had a nurse chatting to me all the way through to keep my mind off what was going on which really helped and I'm so grateful they were there. And the nurse who looked after me following the procedure was so lovely.The nurse was very reassuring and let me take my time getting myself together then took me to another room to talk me through what to expect in the coming days and weeks and answered any questions I had.

I am so thankful to everyone for being so professional and so lovely at such a distressing time. You all deserve medals xx
