"This hospital is fabulous"

From the welcome at the front door on the day of admission through to my discharge seven days later, the care I experienced whilst an in-patient on the 4th floor at this hospital was exemplary. Every member of staff appeared to be focused on me as an individual; my anxieties at impending surgery were allayed, the attention to post operative analgesia was constant and no decision was made without discussion with me. In particular the constant reassurance of my consultant and nursing staff were of immense help when somewhat unexpectedly my body was slow to recover from the procedure. As a patient I felt very safe and well cared for.

In addition to the quality of the healthcare I received my room (and view) was stunning and the catering was of an extremely high standard and delicious. It is not easy being a patient but this hospital and its staff made my experience as pleasant as it could be. Thank-you to all.
