"Still not sure where I am"

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

my doctor phoned the QE hospital and arranged an appt in a@e to see the spacial care unit, I arrived at 2, o/c. then the drama atarted I was checked in after an hour, then went an had a xray. two hours later I ask a nurse when ami going to see a doctor, she came back and said they had forgotton me, I am diabetic and I have had nothing to eat for about eight hour, I felt unwell my head was spinning, I had enough I left the hospital and drove home to something to eat. I had just arrive home when hospital phone an said where are you, I said at home they sorry we forgot you until now, can you come back for a few more test. I said I would it was now eight oclock at night, when I get to the hospital they inform that they have a bed waiting for me, why did they no inform me all during the day, I refuse to go into hospital having had no time to arrange any thing, so they made me sign a paper to let me go. I am in my 80s an to be without food for so long is evil, having come home im still not sure where I am.

thank you for your respones, it nice to know somebody cares,I must admit that I felt like a lump of meat,just being ignored and pushed from pillar to post,I know the job is stressful,but bear in mind we are old and need a little more attention
