About: Shotley Bridge Hospital Site

I attended the minor injuries unit of Shotley Bridge hospital yesterday with my son who had a cricket-related hand injury. We found the service to be superb and were in and out of the unit within an hour. The staff were helpful and friendly whilst the nurse who treated my son was excellent - the nurse had time to explain the procedures needed, had a sense of humour and was highly skilled in the treatment given. The hospital shows the NHS in the best light possible.
