"Long wait on 111"

About: Dewsbury & District Hospital / Gastroenterology NHS 111

(as a carer),

I phoned 111 and asked for some help and I was told my mum had gastroenteritis by some one who could not really say what she had. I was not happy so asked to speak to a manager that put me on hold. I was say hello hello that did not answer me. I then rang some one else, got very little help from them and finally got some one and he was not trained to take complaints. he put me through to triage nurse. by this time I had been on the phone for over an hour, she the advised me that I would get a call back from a doctor which did not happen. it was 8.30 am approximately when that happened by this time I had rang 999 and we was at Dewsbury hospital.
