I was referred via the fast track 2 week colorectal pathway to exclude bowel cancer and also having had an abnormal result on the NHS bowel screening service.

I was seen within 10 days for a sigmoidoscopy by the consultant and their team and then referred on for a colonoscopy.

I have been treated with the most incredible efficiency through all my investigations and cannot fault the care I have received from all members of the teams who have looked after me.

I was kept fully informed at all stages, from the administrator who organised my appointments

and rang me at home to check everything was in order to the nurses in the clinics who were kind, professional and reassuring to my consultants who were so professional.

Thank you so much for all your care. I was so impressed.

I was very apprehensive about my referral but there was no need as I was so well looked after. Thank you again.
