What I liked
I was seen in the A&E department & the receptionist was really friendly, I didn't have to wait very long to be seen by a triage nurse who was incredibly kind & considerate. I had a couple of hours to wait until I could be seen by a doctor but as it was late at night the inevitable drunks came in and the triage nurse came to collect me (& also a young family) to take us through out of the way of the rowdy drunks, this was something they didn't have to do but it was very much appreciated. I was then seen by the doctor who was very kind & thorough and confirmed what the triage nurse had told me.
What could be improved
Nothing, the department was clean & the staff were very friendly & efficient. Its just a shame that they all have to deal with the abuse they get from drunk patients
Anything else?
A big thank you to the triage nurse, I was scared & they really helped me feel better. I felt that they genuinely cared.
