"Procedure cancelled twice with less than 24..."

About: London Independent Hospital

I went to the London Independent in February through choose and book for a debilitating back condition that I've had since September. I was told that I needed a procedure which required NHS approval and that they would contact me once they had this.

If I hadn't heard anything after nine weeks I was to contact them. I didn't hear so I contacted them and was given an appointment for treatment in May. However, less than 24 hours before I was due to have the procedure I received a telephone call to say that the consultant ' wasn't now available' and the procedure was rebooked for 25 June.

After preparing for my procedure tomorrow I have now had another phone call telling me once again that the consultant won't be available to carry out this procedure tomorrow and the whole thing has once again been deferred until 8 July.

I am very frustrated over this, especially as I am in constant pain and have had to resign my job due to inability to be able to return to work.
