"The treatment was second to none"

About: Good Hope Hospital / Accident & emergency

(as the patient),

I visited The Emergency Dept with possibly life threatening symptoms. From the moment I checked in at reception I was treated with professionalism and friendliness by every member of staff I encountered. I'm glad to say the diagnosis was not serious but I was treated very quickly so they could establish this. I was kept informed continually and explanations for everything they were doing. I received an ECG, x Ray and blood tests and was sent home within one and a half hours. I was never made to feel like I was wasting there time. I realise the time element can be affected by amounts of patients and priorities but even so the treatment was second to none.

I am so pleased to read that from the moment you booked into the department you felt that you were treated with professionalism and kindness by every member staff you came into contact with.
