(as the patient),

I was only in for a day this time, but excellent care and attention to detail, from medical and nursing staff alike. Morale is surprisingly high considering the long shifts they work.

How on earth does a 13 hour shift comply with health and safety at work?

Thank you so much for your lovely comments about your recent stay at Grantham. We do have amazing staff at the hospital and I will make sure its shared with everyone

The staff work a mixture of long and short shifts and their weekly hours comply with the European Working Directive. This is built in the E-rostering template. Staff have the opportunity to work short shifts only but most staff like the combination.
