"Very dissatisfied"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary

Had my hysterectomy at the end of April and the care on ward 11/31 at the general hospital was amazing. Was re admitted a week and half later with query sepsis and stomach pains via urgent care to GAU and the care was appalling they wouldn't accept me at first as said wasn't gynalogical? Then on the ward hardly seen any staff apart from the night staff of 2 nurses and bank HCA who was brilliant...

but no day staff and where were the HCA,s ? I had no bed changed from thurs-Sunday one day wasn't even given hot drink or fresh water. Then was told was having this test then that and after IV antibiotics was sent home. I was sent home with a discharge letter stating I needed a follow up appointment in guynicology clinic in 6 weeks. I've had problem after problem since been home with antibiotics and lots of visits to my GP which I told them I hadn't heard about my appointment so after my GP finally getting in touch with the guynie team I have my appointment for September? Well that's a funny 6 weeks stated on my discharge letter it's 17 weeks!

Dear reviewer, thank you for taking the time to review Gynaecology at Leicester Royal Infirmary.

We take your comments very seriously and would like to investigate them fully.

Therefore we would be grateful if you would email Rachelle Bowden, Matron: rachelle.bowden@uhl-tr.nhs.uk with your name, address and hospital number and they will be in contact with you. Best wishes, Communications Team, Leicester’s Hospitals.
