Whats the point of this hospital, its only used to get elderly patient's out of Derriford hospital. Nothing more than an old peoples care home. Minor injuries unit run by nurses who cant be bothered, xray department nearly always closed. If they are open they say they cant help,& advise you to go to derriford hospital 30 miles away or wait to see your Gp the next day.
No doctors, worse than when serco ran out of outs service.. Shameful,
People of Liskeard deserve better than this.
They say lack of demand means less staff. Reason for lack of demand is not that people dont need it. Its because everyone in area knows its a utter waste of time going there as staff rude and unhelpful. So people drive straight to main hospital in plymouth. Kernow healthcare in this area is disgusting. GP,s early thousands a week for a few days work. Even then not weekends or out of hours. These people put terrible strain on emergency services who have to cover for their idleness.
