My mother was admitted in May 2016.It was evident from the outset how caring and dedicated the staff were.My mother was in the later stages of dementia and unable to communicate properly but the nurses were so loving and patient with her. They went out of their way to include our family in all the necessary decision making and encouraged us to help them.Everyone on the ward whether medical, clerical or cleaning staff were friendly, professional and extremely hard working.Unfortunately my mother didn't survive, but she received palliative care at the hospital. She died very peacefully, without pain and with great dignity, all down to the humanity of the wonderful nursing staff.Thank you.
