"there was nothing I liked about ..."

About: Stepping Hill Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked there was nothing I liked about this hospital What could be improved? Medical staff could talk to patients more about their condition and treatment. Nurses should be more careful in their records. On one day I was given my medication only to be approached by a nurse 30 mins later to give me my meds again. They did not belive I had already had them as they were not recorded. Needless to say i would not take them and it was recoreded on my notes that I had refused meds!! Anything else? When I was visited by DRs/Consultants I was always referred to by my condition rather than my name. I must say this did change after I challenged a Dr as to what name was actually on my notes. While I was on a specialist ward prior to my transfer to a general ward a cleaner refused to continue to clean the ward as my bed was in the middle of the ward while nurses were transferring me to another bay area. Her reason wa sthat it was a fire hazard.
