"Surestart Harworth Family Support & courses"

We were in contact with family support from early on as we were first time parents, who were invaluable for advice and all kinds of support. Our support worker Neil was great, and supported us getting into routines and onto courses within the children's centre. We have also undertaken all sorts of classes at the centre including Baby massage, Solihull parenting group, and a paedeatric first aid group, also Baby incredible years which was great. Karen and Fran are brilliant, and Kate! Health visiting team also very supportive who are within the centre. Met some great new people and now have a lovely network of friends. I've heard some people say in the past, family support and surestart are a thing for people who struggle aren't they? The answer is NO they are great for everyone, and there is something everyone can learn!
