"Excellent care, never had any complaints"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 7)

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ambulatory care on Monday 21st June with breathing difficulty, the staff within the unit were very helpful, caring and attended to my needs very efficiently. I was admitted to ward 7 later on in the Monday under the care of Doctor Dagg, His care and attention to getting my condition stabilised was very efficient, also the doctors who work with them also show excellent efficiency and care. My respiratory condition is chronic and it has had a major impact on my mom ility, Jackie the physiotherapist and her staff showed excellent care when dealing with your mobility needs. Keeley the respiratory nurse was excellent in helping me dealing with learning me breathing techniques to carry out when my breathing became bad. All the staff from the domestics Caroline and Laura Marie showed excellent care when dealing with cleaning the ward and providing tea. Laura Maria always left me a cup of tea if I fell asleep or was out the ward for tests which I was extremely grateful for. All the staff from the sister, staff nurse's, clinical support workers, student nurses, showed excellent care and attention to my needs, nothing was a problem for them, they showed excellent support at all times, which helped my recovery and settle In the ward 7 due the excellent care provided. Also I would like to say that the porters who took you to the ward, other take you for tests dealt with you in a respectful manner. Therefore finally I would like to say that each time I have been admitted to any ward in Wishaw General I have no complaints about the hospital.
