"feel like i am not getting enough help from mersey care"

About: Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust / Adult mental health

(as a service user),

I am suffering from PTSD am under the care of Mersey Care and have a psychiatrist but all I seem to get is medication and I feel that I need help to move forward with my recovery.

I feel like I cannot approach anyone and ask for help. I have now started isolating myself from everyone and I feel like am having a breakdown.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on the services you have received and we are sorry that they have not met your expectations.

We would expect that you would have been given the opportunity to discuss a full range of therapeutic interventions to support your recovery with your psychiatrist.

We are concerned that you feel that you cannot approach anyone and would encourage you to contact the PALS team who will support you to discuss this further.
