"motorcycle accident on A24"

About: East Surrey Hospital / Accident and emergency South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust / Emergency ambulance

(as the patient),

I had a motorcycle accident and very badly injured (broken neck as it turned out)

The ambulance service I received, superb and very nice medics.

I was fortunate to have doctor and a paramedic in the traffic, I did thank the doctor who was great but did not get chance to thank the female paramedic whom I think was named Kerry, so if you happen to know Kerry or see this thank you very much for your help. I was taken to East Surrey Hospital, lovely, clean and fresh, the service from A & E and on ward could not have been better.

Dear Jorge

Thank you so much for taking the time to feed back about your experience of the ambulance service when you had your motorcycle accident. It must have been very traumatic for you and I am so pleased you felt that both the ambulance service and the hospital provided great care.

I would be happy to pass on your very kind comments to the paramedic concerned, so if you could email our team at pet@secamb.nhs.uk, letting us know the date, location and approximate time of your accident, this will enable us to identify her.

Thank you again and I do hope you are recovering well from your injuries.

Kind regards, Louise
