"Shocking lack of care on a Neurology ward"

I went to A&E with uncontrolled epileptic seizures. The Neurologist in A&E was excellent and very professional. They gave me the perfect medication that temporarily stopped the seizures. Understandably, then admitted me to a Neurology ward because my seizures could physically harm me and obviously my medication needed changing.

Unfortunately, I was passed onto a different Neurologist and it went wrong from there. The neurologist I was changed to was extremely rude, absolutely refused to listen and offered no treatment. On the Neurology ward most of the Nurses were also extremely rude and didn't care for me at all, even though I'm physically disabled. This includes when I had another epileptic seizure which I am certain the nurses were aware of but they offered no care nor the medication prescribed. I know this because I can hear briefly before losing consciousness and my hearing is the first to come back. This is probably the same for anyone who has that type of epileptic seizures.

I then realised I was not safe on that ward and was better off being cared for by my relatives, even though my potentially harmful seizures hadn't resolved and I didn't have any better medication.

I am leaving this review so that hopefully one day things will improve.
