I am attending Ambulatory Care with my partner who needed a minor operation and must say I'm absolutely amazed at the staff behaviour. The waiting room is full of staff eating chocolate and crisps, one particularly nurse is attending to patients with an open bag of crisps in their pocket that they occasionally keeps grazing on. Since their arrival the receptionist has done very little but complain openly in front of patients/visitors about how they don't want to be there. The nurse has now returned and slumped over the reception desk to eat some more. This to me looks extremely unprofessional and reflects badly on the entire facility. Whilst the Doctors and Consultants have been excellent when is someone going to address this problem of scruffy and ignorant nursing staff? 'Health professionals' they most certainly do not appear to be!
