"Outpatients - eye hospital"

About: Hull Royal Infirmary

Been highly satisfied by previous treatment for cataracts. Referred this time 3 months previously by letter from optician. When called in for initial check, eye drops, couldn't get name right. Waited approx a further hour to be seen by doctor and greeted by a question as to why I was there. Examination was done in silence, apart from directions to look, with no comment other than to state a referral would be made to the cornea clinic with no description of the problem or possible prognosis and no invitation to ask questions.

Does this mean another 3 months to wait?
