A very dear friend was admitted to RHCH on Tuesday morning. Moved to Bartlett ward to await surgery for a broken hip. Nil by mouth so hardly anything to eat or drink during the last 3 days. Anemia given on Thursday as excuse, blood started being given at 5pm. Blood tests taken Tuesday on admittance. Still no surgery by 9pm Friday evening, maybe tomorrow..... The lady is 86.
