"Feeling wonderful and positive"

About: King George Hospital

I am a very happy patient of Rheumatology I have been for 4 years now and a patient for a trial drug for 9 months. I have always been very happy and satisfied that I have been treated with what I believe 1st class treatment, I have been listened too, I have been involved with my treatment from the start, my appointments have been more or less on time, the longest I have had to wait to be seen in the waiting area is 40 minutes, this has been on just the one time. My trial drug combined with my other prescribed medication is marvellous, last year I was finding it very difficult to even climb stairs , walk a short distance, normal daily activities were very painful and difficult, however today I can go to the gym, walk 10k climb stairs and pain is more or less a thing of the past, yes it took a number of different courses of medications, trial and error, my rheumatologist listened to me, took notice of my views and concerns and together we have got my rheumatoid arthritis under control, I can only give a positive review and say I am very happy with my treatment at the Rheumatology Dept King George Hospital and I look forward to seeing my Rheumatologist as I like sharing my positive progression with them and the rest of the staff.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your comments.

It is so wonderful to read about the positive experience you have had over the past 4years, in our Rheumatology Department.

It is very important for patient’s thoughts and views to be listened throughout their treatment and I am pleased to hear that your consultant has been so supportive. I am unable to tell from your comment which Rheumatology consultant your comment relates too.

It would be wonderful if you could contact our PALS department on 01708 435 454 or by email at PALS@bhrhospitals.nhs.uk, to provide more details so that we can ensure your comments are passed on to the people that made such a difference to you.

Yours Sincerely

Nadeem Moghal

Medical Director
