"Rude"

About: Soho Walk in Centre

As a last resort after being told there are no appointments for two weeks at my local GP I decided to go to this walk in clinic before work.

Worried that my condition was not serious enough (tonsillitis and a fever) I looked on the website to check that all was ok, according to the website it is acceptable to ask for an appointment only having a sore throat.

I do not mind waiting however what I do mind is being scolded for turning up with a 'viral cold' and told that I am fine as there are no spots on my tonsils (there are very visibly 8-10 And i can barely swallow). The doctor then proceeds to lecture me on taking ibuprofen and claims that if I had taken this every day I wouldn't have needed to see a doctor.

It really is awful being made to feel this way by a healthcare professional
