"Emerald Unit"

My 90 year old father was recently in Emerald Unit for 4 weeks. I can not praise highly enough the staff, who were all so caring yet professional, and treated him with dignity and great compassion. They also provided huge support to me. They worked really well together as a team, whether doctor, nurse, health care assistant, housekeeping or catering staff. They made a difficult time much easier to cope with. The unit itself was clean, bright and welcoming and had a calm atmosphere, which is so important for dementia patients. A huge thank you to all the lovely staff.
