"Feedback on ward 76"

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

My son visits this hospital on a regular basis for uveitus & inflammation in both eyes! He was in ward 76 recently for a Botox injection & was told the whole procedure would take 10 minutes! My son was admitted at 11-0clock & was told he had an hour wait! We were still waiting at 1-30 for him to have this procedure done when I asked staff why we was still waiting there response was well u are an afternoon patients therefore u could be waiting till 3-0 clock to be seen! I was outraged my son is 16 years old & to be told we had such a wait was stressful for him but me also! Eventually he got seen & then we were told we had a 2 hr wait for eyedrops! I was absolutely disgusted no 1 should have to wait like this! None of the staff seemed to know wat was going on! Was very disappointed with the whole experience! My son & I were very stressed.
