About: Hillingdon Hospital

I just waited 3 hours in A&E and left without seeing a doctor I was told it could be be couple more hours until I see a doctor !

I have never waited so long at any hospitals in uk

Why can't you get enough doctors in place to see the patient with in the resonable time

There were so many patients waiting in pain!

I was sorry to hear of the waiting time that you experienced and apologise that you felt the wait was too long. The A&E at Hillingdon is very well staffed but unfortunately is not a large unit and with ever increasing attendance numbers there are occasions when the waiting times increase.

I can assure you that all patients are triaged and seen in order of priority to ensure that those in pain are dealt with as quickly as possible.

The Hospital has a robust A&E improvement plan to help reduce waiting times within the department and is delivering this now.
