"Quick and pleasant"

I attended A and E early one Saturday evening after coming off my bike and injuring my shoulder. The waiting room was very calm, more like a doctor's surgery. Reception staff got through all the formalities quickly, and I was seen by an exceptionally competent nurse after about 20 minutes. The nurse recommended I have a couple of x-rays, which were conducted quickly. All in all, I was in and out within 100 minutes.

Far from the multi-hour experience that some are led to expect and I was delighted with the care I received. Thanks very much to the nurse who saw me.
