"Dreading my op"

About: Pilgrim Hospital

I was dreading my operation on Wednesday 15/06/16 However I was treated really well I was in the day case ward and I was put at ease by the staff there , I was really nervous and was put at ease .

However I did witness a very rude patient towards the nurse and really they didn't deserve it they are doing a really good job I did speak up and told the nurse that, please ignore it, the nurse replied that they are trained in those areas and don't worry ... They are wonderful staff by looking after me and just wanted to say a really big thank you .............

Response from United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust

Dear Colin

Thank you for taking the time to feedback on your recent experience on the Day Case Ward. I have shared your comments with the teams involved and we are pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the care we provided during your patient journey. We recognise that a hospital admission is always an unsettling experience and we are pleased we were able to reassure you.

We hope you are recovering well.

Kind Regards

Sister Cindy Devlin, Day Ward, Pilgrim Hospital
