"Poor care"

About: Southend Hospital

My wife had to attend MB1 today for a blood test and liver scan after the staff were so concerned about high bile salt levels in her blood. There was talk of starting her on medication and even inducing her early, as the levels could get to dangerous levels. After waiting 5 hours to see the doctor, they said everything was fine. They said a liver scan was not really needed, but after remembering the protocols in the UK, said my wife would get an appointment in the post. They said she should never have come in today at all. We have been left extremely angry, upset, and confused. Where do they get these weekend staff from?
