About: Bandrum Nursing Home

(as a service user),

I enjoy the activities like the singing and entertainment. I also enjoy dancing and keeping active. I help around the home and do some gardening now and again. The carers are good and the staff are friendly.

I read books and like some quiet time. Bandrum is an open home. There's no restrictions. I feel that I am part of Bandrum and Bandrum is part of me.

I've gone on plenty of outings, to cafes, meals, etc. I'd like to go and visit Edinburgh again, sometime.

I am really happy to hear your compliments of the staff and the vast activity program we have. I've also read that you would like to go back to Edinburgh, please do mention this to the activity team so they can organise the trip for you, or do ask them to add it to our wishing tree. If there is anything else we can do at any time please do not hesitate to tell your Carer or Nurse in Charge.

We have been working for a long time to ensure our care is bespoke and person centred and your comment 'I feel that I am part of Bandrum and Bandrum is part of me.' was very humbling. Thank you very much.
