"Admitted for emergency operation"

About: University Hospital Monklands / General Surgery (Wards 4 & 7)

(as the patient),

Went to A&E, the doctor couldn't have been nicer. She was very concerned and put everything into action for an immediate ct scan and blood test.

Admitted next day and both doctor and consultant were honest straight to the point and very reassuring, procedure went well and recovering well. Basically a huge big thank you to the staff at A&E on and day and night staff on ward nine.

Dear AntzD

Thank you for taking the time to post your experience of care at Monklands Hospital,.

I appreciate attending A & E and having various tests done can be very frightening and I am delighted to learn staff were able to reassure you and reduce your anxiety level which in turn has helped your recovery.

I hope you continue to recover from your procedure and I will be delighted to share your post with the teams.

Kind regards

Ruth
