About: George Eliot Hospital - Acute Services / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I had need to attend the a and e department yesterday afternoon falling and hurting my knee. All the staff who looked after me were excellent from the receptionist, the man who took my notes, the x Ray technician and the two doctors who reassured me that it wasn't too serious.

Everything was explained to me as it happened and I was only there two hours. People are very quick to complain and very slow to praise.

Falling can be a distressing experience and I am pleased that you received the care you needed both promprtly. I will forward your email to the A&E team so that they know of your satisfaction.
