I had an eye test at Spec Savers, who advised me that I had a cataract and they would refer me to the Hospital. I duly received an appointment and attended last week. My appointment was for 9am and I was seen before this time when an extremely pleasant nurse put eye drops into my eyes and checked the pressure. I then had to wait 15-20 minutes before I saw Mr Kahn. He checked my eyes and was very charming. He asked me if I wanted the operation because there could be complications. We discussed the options and he asked if I could see, to which I replied I could, then he advised to leave well alone, I would know when I needed an operation. He was so honest and I was impressed.
