The hospital is radically lacking in adequate parking.
I brought my wife in for tests. She could not walk and there was nowhere to park to help her out. I had to park on 'no parking'. I then went to get a wheelchair, but none were available. It was 30 mins before one was brought by a porter.
I then tried to find somewhere to park. There were none available and plenty of people trying to find somewhere. 20 mins later gave up and parked on grass. Then went in for tests to be told that this was only initial assessment, and we would have to come back at another time for tests, as the system didn't allow for immediate testing unless patient was admitted no matter how critical. My wife broke down.
I can't help feeling that this lack of flexibility and rigid adherence to the rules will cost lives. Further immediate testing can sometimes be more cost effective, as it prevents the problem developing and becoming more expensive to treat cutting down on the number of appointments.
