I am a 51-year-old male who has recently had my prostate removed. It has been a very emotional and stressful time for me, over this last year, from being a fit and healthy person to being told I have cancer. Then what impact the surgery could have on my life. One of which is incontinence problems. This was very worrying as I am a very active person with a demanding physical job.
Today I visited Oaktree health centre to see Corrine for her to make an assessment on my post op incontinence issues. I found Corrine very professional and easy to talk to. She took her time to listen to my concerns and was very reassuring to help my confidence in regaining control of my bladder.
Corrine gave me advice on how to adapt my personal problem with exercises and following a routine. I also had a scan which helped and reassured me that I was making steady progress. I also have a support telephone number if I need and further assistance before my next appointment.
"Great help at incontinence clinic"
