"Mis diagnosed"

This about my daughter Leah . We came to the A&E dept over 5 weeks ago because my daughter fell from a height whilst playing about with friends and went over on her ankle. I brought her to A&E and was given X-Ray and informed by the doc on duty at the time that her foot was possible just a sprain and told to rest up and cold compress and should improve over time.

I have been worried about it and still been watching it and the swelling had subsided a little but when walking on her foot the right hand side has continued to swell up. Therefore, I have been to the doctors to speak about my concern before I came back to A&E and then they kindly referred me for emergency appointment . As they felt it wasn't right like me. Where we are having to go to the fracture clinic for further investigation now. And how the radio have spoken about missed fractured.

Which, I'm very upset about because the doc who diagnosed didn't even know that there was a different type of strength of drug for use in an adult and a child that they had prescribed for a child who broke her arm. And it took a nurse to point that out. So you can imagine the manor doesn't instill confidence in me at all.
