While I was a patient in ward 7 wishaw general hospital I received the up most care from the staff.
I was under the care of Dr Dagg and his doctors and he explained all the care he was going to give me, in a way I could understand. All the staff from the students, clinical support workers and qualified staff they treated me with respect, excellent care and attention, all my needs were met.
The domestic staff had a dedicated regime to their cleaning, Caroline always had a smile and pleasant nature. Lisa Marie always left me a cup of tea even though I was sleeping to which I really appreciated. The porters when taking to and from wards always spoke to you in a pleasant manner.
The only concern I had was that on the night shift there was not enough staff which could be detrimental to the staff and to the patients.
