I am shocked, saddened & disgusted in the care ( or lack of it ) given to patients in this hospital. My loved one spent 2 weeks here & as I visited daily, I got to see quite alot of the staff. Sadly they showed no care or compassion. They were angry / unfriendly & totally unapproachable. I witnessed a patient being told off for pressing their alarm for assistance & being told in a nasty tone that they would just have to wait until someone could help. They then walked away, shaking their head, arms raised up & moaning to another staff member about the patient. I witnessed a patient being told off because a strip of tape came away from their face, when they turned their head. I also heard 2 staff members discussing their personal lives whilst curtains were drawn & they were supposed to be assisting a patient. Who employs these people & who on earth is responsible for their training? People choose to work in the caring profession, at the very least, please try to care for these vulnerable patients & remember that one day, that vulnerable old person in that hospital bed could be you!
"God help all the patients!"
