My husband stayed in Walnut Ward for 10 days as he had a blood clot on his lung.
The bay he stayed in was bright and airy, with soft music playing in the background which helped make it a relaxing environment in which to make a good recovery.
The nurses were helpful and cheerful.
The doctors were also very helpful, explained things clearly and were available to talk to which is very important.
My husband has very special needs as he suffered a catastrophic stroke last year and in this bay they looked after him very well.
Thank you very much to all the Staff in Walnut Ward!
