"Care of my Mother"

About: Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

My mother is currently in G9 she is 84 with osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, which gives minimum movement, I have just visited her as she has been admitted with a very bad water retention, after a very bad experience in A&E ( l understood why she had a bad time in there as there was a problem at the time with beds). However on my return today l did expect to find her at least comfortable but no the nurses were not able to make her comfortable due to lifting reasons surely with her problems comfort would be necessary, but no. My mother is a very small lady comfort is a must. I tried to discuss this with the staff and to be honest l should have just talked to the wall. I gave up and went back to my mother to find her trying to be sick no sick bowl arrived l had to ask this took 5 minutes to show up, were we asked if they could help no they just passed the bowl and vanished, her care is disappointing, l have had to leave my mother in a very depressed state and no true care.

I know they are busy but they are nurses by name only, l did not see any nursing. This is unacceptable if l could have taken her home I would have.
