What I liked

My consultant organised my treatment immediately.

What could be improved

Communication between nurses and doctors. My overnight operation was a shambles because the surgeon who did my procedure did not contact my consultant to advise on the correct method for tackling an anal-fistula. St Marks does not have an emergency service and you have to go through Northwick park. This is where the problem starts.

I find that St Marks being an internationally recognized hospital, only has 40 BEDS! This is ridiculous. After my operation, I had to spend the entire night in a noisy recovery room.

Anything else?

Close the West Wing, the night team at that time was a shambles to the world of nursing!
