I have nothing but praise for all the Staff who attended to my elderly, very deaf 90 year old Mum, who also has vascular dementia, when she was taken to A & E on Sunday after having been discovered, stranded in her bath and was suffering from confusion after having suffered a TIA. I have never been to this hospital before and was a little apprehensive.
All I can say is, don't ever criticise the NHS in my presence or you will get short shrift! The staff, on every level were absolutely lovely and very, very caring.
The one and only problem wasn't with the NHS, but Highways for lack of direction signs to the Hospital for people who aren't familiar with the area! We saw one, then nothing, very frustrating! Fortunately, a very nice man at a bus stop, directed us.
"Couldn't have been more caring!"
