"Excellent care, all staff very kind natured"

About: Warwick Hospital

My mum was recently on willoughby ward for a stoma reversal. She transferred her care to Warwick hospital after a bad experience elsewhere, and was so happy with her decision. From pre-op to discharge everything was so well planned. Mum was treated with dignity and so well cared for. She was always involved in decisions about her care, and was kept informed regarding discharge plans. The staff were so attentive, she never wanted for anything. As a health care professional myself, it was a pleasure to see a ward well ran, with multidisciplinary teams working well together. This made a much more pleasant stay for what could have been a traumatic time for all.

Thank you for your feedback, it is very much appreciated and will be passed on to the staff responsible for Gastrointestinal and Liver services. Where necessary, we feel that taking a multidisciplinary approach can play an important part in meeting patient's needs so are glad that, as a health professional, you noticed this working well.
