"Great treatment"

I have been a patient under the Gastro team since late 2012 with a chronic illness. I was very sick and now I am very well under their care. I visit the hospital for treatments for 2 months, and usually more often for other appointments and it has been unfailingly good. I find the staff at the Whittington are caring and also personable - I feel like they have taken the time to get to know me. I am always astonished at how much they remember when they see hundreds of patients. It's impressive. Sometimes the waiting times are long but it's par for the course in the NHS I think, and once I was 'in' the system the nurses and consultants went out of their way to make sure my care was the best it could be.
