"Lack of treatment for broken wrist"

About: St Mary's Hospital (HQ) / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

I was completely unable to get through via telephone and when I did my GP referral was nowhere to be found and it was IMPOSIBLE for me to get anybody to x ray and assess my injury

As a result I had to make repeated attempt to go to Accident and Emergency at various hospitals where they refused to treat me because I wasn't on their system despite my having an NHS number and being born and living in Brent for all my life

They said without the GP referral there was nothing they could do to treat my broken wrist which was sustained whilst abroad on holiday

It felt like nobody could be bothered to treat me. I will be taking things further if I have complications or suffer unnecessarily because of these peoples apathy.
