I spent 5 days on the specialist surgery ward following a planned plastic surgery procedure. From start to finish, I could not praise the staff and facilities enough. My surgeon, anesthetist, nurses and everyone associated with the surgery were first class. There was no waiting around and I was efficiently taken from pre-op through to post-op.
The nurses in the ward were, without exception, both competent and compassionate....especially good was nighttime cover when gentleness in waking me hourly was especially appreciated. I was treated respectfully, tenderly, as if I was family or friend.
As it was a complicated and (I'd thought) painful surgery, my pain management was so good, I was never once uncomfortable.
Good and parking at the JR are notoriously bad but with this kind of medical expertise, who care?
"Brilliant start to finish"
