I have been suffering pain in my right hip for months following a bad fall. I am 68 and left it, thinking it was taking longer to get better because of my age. Eventually the pain got the better of me as I couldn't walk properly or lie on my right side. I was sent for an X-ray then went to see the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner for an assessment. They pushed me about a bit and when I got home I thought they had crippled me for life, I took a couple of painkillers then slept for about 12 hours.
When I got up I pootled around for a bit, as usual then suddenly it struck me that the pain wasn't starting up. Absolutely amazing, I can't thank this person enough. I went for follow up and have been given some exercises to do and hopefully I will continue to be pain free. I had bursitis by the way. Also, a member of staff in the Clinic was lovely.
Thank you.
